[Exited] WhatsApp Business platform that made it easier for SMBs to enter the messaging business
get.chat was a platform that made it easier for SMBs and ISVs to enter the messaging business with WhatsApp Business Platform, which I co-founded and bootstraped. The product was a WhatsApp shared team inbox, and included an open API with an integration layer. The team inbox features included chat assignment between team members or organization members, chat tagging (lead qualification, client status), saved/canned responses, WhatsApp message templates, interactive messages like messages with buttons. The integration layer made it possible for independent software vendors (ISVs) to integrate the inbox with their own internal/external systems, including possibility to embed the front-end on their own systems. There were ready-made integrations like HubSpot CRM integration, Zapier integration, or synchronization of WhatsApp contacts between the inbox and CRMs, and contact book providers like Google contacts. It was also possible to send bulk messages (broadcast messages) from the UI to multiple recipients simultaneously. All features were available via the web UI, mobile app, and open API, too. I delivered the product when leading 3 teams of 15 developers in total. Earned hundreds of satisfied customers, dozens of ISV partners, and white labels.
